Sean Riley, 19-years-old, moved to Boracay from Manila with his dad Joe, two years ago after spending many school holidays on the island. Sean is currently in his final year at a boarding school in England and it was there where he developed his love of Rugby.
This year Sean was selected to be Captain of the 2019 Under-19’s Philippine Volcanoes National Rugby Team. He has competed for the team for the last three years, and was selected to join by scouts from the Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU).
The team competed in the 2019 Under-19’s Asian Rugby Championship in Beijing China last December 11 to 14, 2018. The Finals took place on December 14, 2019, with the Philippines coming in second against overall winners Sri Lanka.
Congratulations Sean!
