The recent rainy weather found Claire and myself running along the main road towards d*mall where we were going to grab some lunch. Perfectly situated at the mall entrance you’ll find the Boracay Beach Truck restaurant. At first glance, you may think that it's just a take-away place, but they have a nice upstairs air-conditioned dining area that suited us perfectly.
Being a true lover of traditional Filipino food, along with the expertise to know what’s good or not so good in these dishes, my wife had no hesitation in ordering a Special Arroz Caldo.
Her report, was, “Sarap. Salamat…”
I’m more inclined to try something new or different for myself, so opted for the Teriyaki Tofu Bowl, which is a sumptuous dish full of nutrition and perfect for those who love fresh veggies. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the mix of flavours combined perfectly for me.
The Boracay Beach Truck concept is the idea of creators, Juan Elizalde and Paolo Occhionero, of Boracay's iconic Italian restaurant, Aria Cucina Italiana. Their knowledge of quality food and what Boracay wants ensures us that we’ll enjoy the Beach Truck dining experience.
The restaurant’s popular Island Bowls features a variety of flavorful rice, noodles, and soup bowl options from around the world.
Each bowl is a delicious combination of fresh ingredients and flavours, giving customers a taste of different cultures in one convenient rice bowl. Whether you're craving Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian, Hawaiian, or Japanese cuisine, Boracay Beach Truck has got you covered with their diverse menu options.
And let’s not forget their Sunrise Milk Tea which offers a wide selection of refreshing milk tea flavours to start the day. From classic milk tea to unique fruit-infused blends, Sunrise Milk Tea has something for everyone's taste buds.
This place is well worth the visit and is conveniently located at the heart of Boracay.
